...Heavy Wet Snow and Strong Winds Impacting Travel Into The Wednesday Morning Commute... .Bands of snow, heavy at times, will bring several inches of accumulation to the area into Wednesday morning. Highest amounts are trending over central Wisconsin with upwards of 6 inches possible. The bulk of the accumulations will fall tonight. In addition, winds will be on the increase tonight, gusting from 35 to 45 mph. The wet nature of the snow will generally inhibit any significant blowing or drifting, but visibilities will be impacted. Also, there is the potential for any snow laden tree branches or power lines to be brought down. Travel will be impacted through Wednesday with snow covered to slushy roads and the strong wind gusts. Exercise caution.
