Deputy Robert Watson with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 55-year-old Alan Scott Randolph with felonious Possession of Methamphetamine, felonious Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle for a Controlled Substance, felonious Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Methamphetamine and an Expired Operators License. Randolph was issued a $40,000 secured bond.
On March 29th, deputies were patrolling the area of US 221 south in Glenwood and initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Randolph. He was unable to provide a valid driver’s license. A search of the vehicle turned up methamphetamine.
