DO NOT BE ALARMED!
The Westfield Police Department, the Town of Westfield, NJ Fire Department, and Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad will be participating in full-scale training exercises on Tuesday, April 2nd to Saturday, April 6th between the hours of 8am and 4pm at Holy Trinity School. We will be utilizing both sides of the school - First Street and Watterson Street.
Holy Trinity School is closed for Easter Break this week so no students or staff will be onsite.
During this time, you may see an increased number of emergency vehicles, increased number of emergency responders, and police personnel walking the grounds of Holy Trinity School with training weapons. You may also hear yelling and the sounds of crashing and/or banging.
This training will provide an improved response by all Westfield emergency responders in the event of a large-scale incident.
This message will be repeated each day as a reminder.
