Southeastern Johnson County in central Indiana...

Northeastern Brown County in south central Indiana...

Northern Bartholomew County in central Indiana...

* Until 500 PM EDT.

* At 430 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Nashville, or

14 miles west of Columbus, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage

to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...

Columbus, Nashville, Edinburgh, Hope, Flat Rock, Princes Lakes,

Hartsville, Clifford, Peoga, Gnaw Bone, Boggstown, Marietta, and

Taylorsville.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 68 and 89.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the

basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for central and

south central Indiana.
