Activity for April 2, 2024. Officers responded to 81 calls for service, made 2 arrests, and 16 traffic stops.

Activity for April 2, 2024:

  • Officer Brooks responded to the 400 block of Second Street for a malicious destruction of property report. Two suspects were identified and confessed to causing the damage. Charges will be sought on a 47-year-old male and a 46-year-old male for malicious destruction of property.
  • Officer Debczak was dispatched to the 200 block of West Biddle Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
  • Officers responded to the 900 block of Williams Street for shots fired. A residence in the area was struck. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Officer Mills picked up a wanted subject from the Ingham County Jail. A 31-year-old female was lodged at JSO on multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
  • Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Michigan Avenue for a subject trying to steal a road sign. A 19-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing.
