Ongoing Police Situation 
ONGOING POLICE SITUATION:
The Huron Township Police and Fire Departments are on the scene at the “Little Chapps” Sunoco station at the intersection of Waltz and South Huron Roads. A suspicious package was located in the parking lot. The Michigan State Police Bomb Squad has been contacted and is on the way. South Huron between Mercer Drive and Waltz Road has been shut down. Area residents are asked to shelter in place. Once the scene is safe, an all clear will be posted on this site. Anyone with information is asked to call the Huron Township Police Department Dispatch Center at 734-753-4400.
