...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in New Jersey... Raritan River At Bound Brook affecting Middlesex and Somerset Counties. For the Raritan River...including Bound Brook...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Raritan River at Bound Brook.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Backyard and low areas are protected by levees and the flood wall. Without the levees or if there is a breach in the levees, minor flooding will occur.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:15 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 27.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 28.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 28.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 28.4 feet on 03/22/1999. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
