Due to hazardous conditions created by the storm, Leonia Middle School is closed today. Anna C Scott Elementary School and Leonia High School are open. There are numerous wires, trees and utility poles down. Do not approach them and do not pass cones or caution tape. The following road closures are in place: Broad Ave from Magnolia to Hillside Hillside Ave from Kingsley to Coover Van Orden Ave from Broad to Hillcrest Christie Heights St from Broad to Hillcrest Woodland Pl from Broad to Glenwood Beechwood Pl Woodridge Pl PSE&G is working on the damage and outages, however we do not have an expected time for the completion of work. Once PSE&G clears live wires from a scene, Leonia Department of Public Works (DPW) can clear trees and branches. If you must go out this morning, please use caution and allow extra time to travel.
