INCIDENT: Barricaded Assault with a Deadly Weapon Suspect

UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau- Lieutenant David Auner
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist Compton Sheriff Station with a barricaded assault with a deadly weapon suspect. The incident was reported on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at approximately 5:45 p.m., on the 1200 block of Caldwell Street, in the city of Compton.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
