Fire Weather Watch until 07:00PM Saturday

The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...In Iowa, Lyon, Sioux, O'Brien, Plymouth, Cherokee, Woodbury and Ida. In Minnesota, Pipestone and Rock. In Nebraska, Dixon and Dakota. In South Dakota, Beadle, Kingsbury, Brookings, Sanborn, Miner, Lake, Moody, Davison, Hanson, McCook, Minnehaha, Hutchinson, Turner, Lincoln, Bon Homme, Yankton, Clay and Union.

* WINDS...Southeast 30 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 33 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
