On Monday, April 8, 2024 road work will begin on South Lake Avenue between Myrtle Avenue and New Scotland Avenue.
Milling and paving of the roadway will begin Monday and will end on Wednesday.
Sidewalk replacement will begin on the east side of South Lake Avenue on Wednesday.
Emergency No Parking signs will be posted on both sides of the roadway as well as side streets in that area. The Emergency No Parking will be in place from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. each work day.
There will be officers in this area each day to ensure the restrictions are being followed.
Motorists and residents are encouraged to review the posted parking restrictions.
Meters on New Scotland Avenue from Capital District Psychiatric Center to South Lake Avenue will be suspended during this time to allow for parking of those displaced during this construction.
