At approximately 10:30 this morning, our region expierenceed an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.8 originating from the Hunterdon County area.  

Currently the emergency services of the Township are not aware of any earthquake related emergencies, however if any emergencies arise or any structural damage is observed to your home or public infrastructure please notify the Township of Washington Police Department via 9-1-1 or 201-664-1140.
