INCIDENT: PC 597 Cruelty to Animals
LOCATION: 24000 block of Finhaut Drive, Crestline
SUSPECT(S): Sarena Kelly Walczyk, 26-years-old, resident from the Community of Crestline.
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY:
On Monday, March 18, 2024, deputies from the Twin Peaks Station investigated reports of animal abuse at a residence located on the 24000 block of Finhaut Drive in Crestline. The investigation revealed Sarena Kelly Walczyk was physically abusing a dog at the residence.
On Friday, April 5, 2024, deputies located and detained Walczyk for an outstanding warrant for cruelty to animals. Walczyk was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center. The abused dog was rescued and turned over to San Bernardino County Animal Control.
