Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that at approximately 09:54pm on 04/06/2024, his Deputies were dispatched to a two-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of Redfield St and Kline Rd in Milton Township, Cass County MI. 

67  year-old Virginia resident Mary Corbett was traveling south bound across Redfield St when she failed to check for oncoming traffic crashing into a vehicle traveling West Bound driven by 22 year-old Briana Parker-Potucek. Corbett was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained during the crash.  

All parties involved wore seat belts. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.

The  Michigan state police, Edwardsburg ambulance, and Edwardsburg Fire assisted the Sheriff Office at the crash scene.  The incident remains under investigation.
