UPDATED INFORMATION - Monday, April 8, 2024
On Sunday, April 7, 2024, shortly after this information was disseminated and shared and by our local media community, Zayra was located safe within the City limits and returned home.

The Santa Maria Police Department would like to thank our media community and the public for their assistance on this case.

ORIGINAL RELEASE - Sunday, April 7, 2024
The SMPD is requesting community assistance locating a missing at-risk juvenile. The missing juvenile is Zayra Santos-Garcia and she is 12 years old. She was last seen on the evening of Saturday, April 6, 2024. She is described as a Hispanic, female, 5'01" tall, 135 lbs, with black/blonde "ombre" style hair. She was last seen wearing all black clothing. The investigation has indicated she was possibly going to travel to Arroyo Grande, CA with unknown others.
