On Friday, April 5th, just after 9pm, APD officers were dispatched to a convenience store in the 3600 block of S. Washington on an armed robbery. The clerk reported that a Hispanic male came into the store armed with a pistol. He demanded money from the register and then left of foot, running north from store. There were no reported injuries in this incident. If you have information on this crime or know who the suspect is, call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.
