Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help with locating Monica Pemberton, 55, who is wanted for questioning in connection with the investigation of a shooting that occurred on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
At approximately 10:45 p.m., Police responded to the 800 block of South 16th Street on a call of a shooting. Responding officers located a man and a woman who had been shot. Both victims were transported to University Hospital for treatment and each is reportedly in stable condition.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking Monica Pemberton for questioning.
