Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On April 4, at approximately 12:07 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the area of East 23rd and North Pine Streets, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 38-year-old Wade Saunders, who was taken into custody without incident. Police recovered 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, 5.9 grams of marijuana, and $425.
Saunders has been charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding capiases:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of Marijuana
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
