* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Evangeline, Rapides, St. Landry and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton and Tyler.

* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Up to 2 inches of rain has already fallen across portions of interior Southeast Texas and Central Louisiana over the past 24 hours. An additional 2 to 5 inches may occur through through Wednesday Afternoon. This additional rainfall could result in flooding concerns in low lying or poorly drained locations. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
