Theft Reduction Operation in Chino Hills Leads to the Arrest of Two Mail Theft Suspects

SUSPECT(S): Jorge Madrigal, a 31-year-old resident of Menifee Leticia Torres, a 35-year-old resident of Upland

SUMMARY: On Friday, April 5, 2024, deputies from the Chino Hills Multi-Enforcement Team conducted an overnight proactive theft reduction operation in Chino Hills. At around 3:16 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near Soquel Canyon Parkway and Pomona Rincon Road. The vehicle's occupants, Jorge Madrigal and Leticia Torres, were contacted and found to have a substantial amount of stolen mail from multiple Chino Hills residents.
Madrigal and Torres were arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing to determine whether these suspects were involved in other reported crimes.
