Highlights:
Calhoun County is now in the Slight Risk for severe storms. Many uncertainties still exist in terms of how the event will actually evolve.
Flood Potential:
When:
- Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night
Threats:
- Rainfall amounts of 3 to 4 inches are likely, with isolated higher totals
- Potential for flooding and flash flooding where heaviest rainfall occurs
Severe Potential:
When:
- Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night
Threats:
- Damaging winds up to 70mph
- Tornadoes
- Quarter size hail
Timing: 3pm-8pm
Storm Shelters: Shelters will open when Calhoun County is placed under a tornado watch. Note: School shelters will not open if school is in session.
