* Flash Flood Warning for... Western Allen Parish in southwestern Louisiana... Beauregard Parish in southwestern Louisiana... Vernon Parish in west central Louisiana... East Central Jasper County in southeastern Texas... Newton County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 1130 AM CDT.

* At 628 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 11 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... De Ridder, Leesville, Newton, Kirbyville, Rosepine, Merryville, Anacoco, Reeves, Singer, Fort Johnson, Bon Weir, Burkeville, Sugartown, Toledo Bend Dam, Ragley, Dry Creek, Fields, Slagle, Mittie and Call.
