* At 734 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated showers and embedded thunderstorms continuing to produce moderate to heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen since Tuesday afternoon. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches, with isolated higher amounts, are possible in the warned area through 945 AM. Several roadways are flooded and impassable across portions of La Salle Parish this morning. Flash flooding is ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
