About the Program:

The Full Day Early Childhood Program will consist of classrooms that will accommodate up to  17 students each.  A vetted preschool curriculum will be utilized and students will attend Art, Music, Physical Education, and Technology classes.  These classrooms will be at Coburn Elementary School and John Ashley Elementary School.  There will be 1 teacher and 1 paraprofessional for each classroom.  The program will run Monday through Friday and will follow the West Springfield Public School District Calendar.  Transportation will be provided.   

Eligibility:

Any West Springfield Resident may apply for a slot in the program.  Applications will be open for 2 weeks, from April 5, 2024 to April 19, 2024.  Applicants will be selected via lottery and once all seats have been filled, remaining applicants will be added to a waitlist.  Selections will be made by April 29, 2024.

Your student must be four years old by September 1, 2024 and toilet trained in order to be eligible to attend.
