Vermilion River At Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage Neches River Near Evadale Village Creek Near Kountze For the West Fork of The Calcasie River...including Sam Houston Jones SP...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Whisky Chitto Creek...including Mittie...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Calcasieu River...including Glenmora, Oakdale, Oberlin, Kinder, White Oak Park, Salt Water Barrier...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Calcasieu River near Kinder.

* WHEN...From Friday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, If gage reading at Kinder reaches 18 feet, flooding begins to cut off some of the roads around Topsy in Northwest Jefferson Davis Parish.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday morning and continue rising to a crest of 18.0 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
