FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible. A half inch to an inch of rain has already fallen and an
additional half inch to an inch of rain is expected between today and
Friday morning.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following
areas, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, De Kalb, Fulton IN,
Grant, Huntington, Jay, Lagrange, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Northern
Kosciusko, Pulaski, Southern Kosciusko, Starke, Steuben, Wabash,
Wells, White and Whitley and northwest Ohio, including the
following areas, Allen OH, Defiance, Fulton OH, Henry, Paulding,
Putnam, Van Wert and Williams.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be
flooded.
Instructions:
You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
