Monday, April 15, 2024: The intersection of Cedar Lane and Teaneck Road will be milled and repaved. Work will begin at Cedar Lane going north on Teaneck Road. The northbound lanes of Teaneck Road (east side of the street) will be closed for milling operations. Operations begin at approximately 6:00 a.m.

• Northbound traffic on Teaneck Road will be channeled into one lane after Lindbergh Blvd. The northbound lane will cross the intersection at Cedar Lane and proceed on Teaneck Road on the west side of the street.
• Southbound traffic on Teaneck Road will be channeled into one lane after Selvage Ave. One southbound lane will proceed on the west side of the street.

Tuesday, April 16, 2024: Provided that the entirety of the east side of Teaneck Road milling is completed on Monday, the milling operation will switch to the west side of Teaneck Road. Operations begin at approximately 6:00 a.m.

• Southbound traffic will be channeled into one lane on Teaneck Road after Selvage Avenue. The ramp to Route 4 west will remain open. The southbound traffic lane will proceed on the east side of Teaneck Road. 

On both dates, the Teaneck Police Department will staff fixed posts at the beginning of each detour route and at side streets along the route. Traffic supervisory personnel will be assigned as well.

At Cedar Lane and Teaneck Road, vehicles traveling east and west on Cedar Lane at Teaneck Road will be directed to make a ‘right turn only’ to defray further backlogs in the area. Once the milling operation clears the intersection with Cedar Lane, it will be re-opened to east/west traffic, regulated by the traffic signal
 
Monday, April 22, 2024: The paving is expected to be completed in one day. Operations will mirror the above protocols with a switch occurring mid-day (weather permitting).

New Jersey Transit bus operations will not be impacted by detours.
