VICTIM(S): Garron Hathale, 41-year-old Male Resident of Highland
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 3:12 a.m., deputies from the Highland Sheriff’s Station responded to an apartment complex in the 7300 block of Sterling Avenue, in Highland, for the report of shots heard. When deputies arrived, they discovered the victim, identified as Garron Hathale, lying in the street with a gunshot wound. Hathale was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded and assumed the investigation. Detectives conducted a neighborhood check but did not locate any witnesses. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect remains at large.
