CDS Arrest 
On Friday, April 12, 2024 at approximately 0030 hours, the Readington Township Police were dispatched to an aggresive driver traveling east on Route 22 near County Line Rd. Patrol stopped Michael Fittipaldi (40) out of Lebanon Boro in the QuickChek parking lot.
While the officers were speaking to Fittipaldi they observed drug paraphernalia on the driver side floorboard and observed a bag of narcotics in Fittipaldi's sweatshirt pocket.
Fittipaldi was placed under arrest and charged with possession of CDS, possession of a prescription legend drug without a prescription and issued a motor vehicle summons for possession of CDS in a MV.
The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
