NEWS INFORMATION

INCIDENT: 2023-35368 Theft

DATE OCCURRED:   12/13/2023 

LOCATION OCCURRED:  Wells Fargo, 682 Alexander Road

WHO:  Accused:  Luis O. Albino

            Victim:  Hightstown Rams Youth Football and Cheerleading

DETAILS:   On 12/15/2023, the President of the Highstown Rams Youth Football and Cheerleading responded to WWPD Headquarters to report the following; She had checked the account balances of the organization's football and cheerleading programs.  She observed multiple $2,000.00 withdrawals.  The treasurer for the organization was unaware of the transactions and related they were unauthorized.  Two of the $2000.00 withdrawals were at the Wells Fargo ATM located at 682 Alexander Road using debit cards assigned to football and cheer respectively.  In addition, several other $2.000.00 unauthorized transactions were completed in surrounding jurisdictions on different dates in 12/2023-1/2024.  The Thefts (unauthorized withdrawals) from the Hightstown Rams Youth Football and Cheerleading was approximately $16,000.00 in total.    

                       Det. Robles, the Lead Detective, began an arduous and thorough investigation to determined who the actor(s) may have been.  As a result of his work, the actor was identified as Luis O. Albino.  It should be noted that Albino was the former President of the Hightstown Rams Youth Football and Cheerleading.  On 4/4/2024, Det. Robles signed a Criminal Complaint for Theft (3rd Degree) against Albino for his actions in West Windsor Township pending a future Mercer County Superior Court appearance.
