1. Resisting Arrest (0834) West Vine Street and North Center Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a suspect armed with a machete. Officers contacted the suspect and were able to detain him without incident. The suspect was placed in a patrol vehicle and became combative. The suspect kicked the police vehicle and caused damage. Officers had to restrain the suspect. ARRESTED: Mace McKinney, 48, for vandalism and resisting arrest.
2. Attempted Robbery (0908) 400 Block of West Doctor Martin Luther King Boulevard, Seaport District
The female victim, 43, was working at an area business when the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property. The suspect ran off when another employee approached, and there was no property loss. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1009) 600 Block of East Church Street, Seaport District
The female, 23, and male, 54, victims were at their residence when the known suspect arrived with two other suspects. The suspects assaulted the female victim, and the male victim intervened. One of the suspects stabbed the male victim in the hand with a sharp object, and another suspect swung a bat at the victim. The suspects fled in a vehicle, and the victims declined medical. The suspects were later located and detained without incident. ARRESTED: Aliyah Lewis-Bation, 25, Destiny Delacruz, 18, and a 17-year-old female for battery, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and conspiracy.
