Wilmington Police have arrested three male juveniles in connection with an attempted vehicle theft.
On April 5, at approximately 11:26 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 900 block of Wawaset Street, in reference to three male subjects breaking into a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers observed three subjects flee from the vehicle on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, officers took a 15-year-old male juvenile, a 14-year-old male juvenile, and a 12-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident.
The 15-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Conspiracy (Third Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on his own recognizance.
The 14-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Conspiracy (Third Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $3,000 unsecured bail.
The 12-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Conspiracy (Third Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on his own recognizance.
