Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with a burglary in-progress.
On April 8, at approximately 5:20 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 100 block of Christiana Landing Drive, in reference to a burglary in-progress. Upon arrival, officers made contact with 33-year-old Devon Sutton, who was taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of a knife.
Sutton has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Over $5,000
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $5,500 cash-only bail.
