Wilmington Police arrest man in connection with aggravated menacing incident:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with an aggravated menacing incident.
On April 3, at approximately 5:18 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1000 block of North Pine Street, in reference to a person with a gun. Upon arrival, officers were advised that a male subject had threatened the victim with a firearm. The case was assigned to Detective Thomas Rittenhouse of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation, Detective Rittenhouse identified 21-year-old Keyon Cooper as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On April 11, members of the Criminal Investigations Division located Cooper in the 500 block of East 12th Street, and took him into custody without incident.
Cooper has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Aggravated Menacing
- Terroristic Threatening
