Dear Resident and Business Owners,
I am writing to inform you about an upcoming street sweeping/cleaning operation that will be conducted by the County Highway Department on Washington Street.
The cleaning schedule is as follows:
- April 18th, 2024: The southbound side of Pine Street will undergo cleaning. Therefore, there will be no parking allowed on this side of the roadway.
- April 18th, 2024: The westbound side of Washington Street will undergo cleaning. Therefore, there will be no parking allowed on this side of the roadway.
- April 19th, 2024: The eastbound side of Washington Street will be cleaned. Consequently, parking will not be permitted on this side of the street.
- April 19th, 2024: The northbound side of Pine Street will be cleaned. Consequently, parking will not be permitted on this side of the street.
To ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the cleaning process, it is imperative that vehicles are not parked on the designated side of the street on the specified dates. In preparation for this operation, "no parking" signs will be posted along Washington Street the day prior to each cleaning day. Please note that these restrictions will be strictly enforced to facilitate the street cleaning activities.
We kindly request all residents and visitors to make necessary arrangements ahead of time for parking their vehicles on alternative streets or in designated parking lots. Your cooperation and understanding during this period are greatly appreciated as we work towards maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our community streets.
