INCIDENT: PC 459 Burglary
LOCATION: 1500 Block of Hospitality Lane, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): William Kingsland, 43-Years-Old, Resident of Glendale, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, March 9, 2024, at approximately 12:14 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the area of 1500 Hospitality Lane reference a report of a burglary. Sometime between April 8, 2024, 6:00 p.m. and April 9, 2024, 8:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) entered the business and removed clothing and shoes which had been donated to the City of Needles, Parks and Recreation.
On Friday, April 12, 2024, deputies contacted William Kingsland in the area of Duke Watkins Park. Kingsland was conducting a sale and had several items of clothing and shoes which were identified as the items taken in the burglary.
William Kingsland was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking on the above charges. Kingsland remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
