Green Bay Police Department Hosts Promotional & Swearing-In Ceremony at Lambeau Field
In a ceremony at Lambeau Field on Monday, April 15, 2024, the Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) promoted nine positions in the ranks of Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Commander. In addition, the GBPD swore in a Patrol Officer and Commander, both of whom were lateral transfers from other Wisconsin agencies.
“The challenges of policing in the 21st Century make strong leadership more important than ever in our profession. Today’s event was a great opportunity to see the next generation of Green Bay Police leadership take on their new roles,” said Chief Chris Davis, Green Bay Police Department.
