SVRRLX The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... South central Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia... Central Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 315 PM EDT.

* At 243 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Ansted, or 7 miles northeast of Fayetteville, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Summersville and Mount Nebo. This includes Route 19 between mile markers 21 and 42.

* AFFECTED AREAS: FAYETTE, WV ... NICHOLAS, WV

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
