INCIDENT: P.C. 368(D)(1) - Elder Abuse and P.C. 211 - Robbery
LOCATION: 500 block of Front Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Amanda Maxwell, 44-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at approximately 1:10 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service reference an assault. During the investigation, the suspect, Amanda Maxwell, was found to be in violation of P.C. 368(D)(1) - Elder Abuse and P.C. 211 - Robbery, after pushing the victim and taking her money.
Maxwell was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Maxwell remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
