This morning, the Fremont Unified School District received an email claiming a bomb had been “planted within your school building.” This appears to have been received by numerous districts within the region and is not a specific threat solely towards FUSD. Fremont PD is investigating the matter and collaborating with State and Federal law enforcement partners. At this time, we do not believe there is a credible threat to any school in Fremont. Out of an abundance of caution, the Fremont Police Department will be highly visible near our FUSD campuses.
