Planned Closure for US Highway 550 at Cascade Curve Mile Point 51 April 18, 8am for several hours to all day. 
US Highway 550, approximately two miles north of Purgatory Ski Resort, will be closed Thursday morning, April 18 to allow for the recovery of a crashed semi truck. The road closure and recovery operation are scheduled for 8 a.m. and could last for most of the day. There is no exact time of reopening and commuters who use the corridor should make it to the closure point before the hard closure time of 8 a.m.

Monitor cotrip.org for updates. Be prepared for an all day closure. Check for alternate travel routes.
