* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Calhoun County in north central West Virginia... South central Ritchie County in northwestern West Virginia... Gilmer County in north central West Virginia... Northwestern Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Southeastern Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia... North central Roane County in central West Virginia...

* Until 1030 PM EDT.

* At 959 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Grantsville, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Glenville, Grantsville, Arnoldsburg, Cedar Creek State Park, Sand Fork, Shock, Millstone, Wilsie, Smithville, Rosedale, Stouts Mills, Mount Zion, Creston, Big Springs, Brohard, Nicut, Stumptown, Tanner, Macfarlan, and Annamoriah.

Instructions:

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows.
