* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... West central Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... South central Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Northeastern Braxton County in north central West Virginia... Southwestern Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Webster County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 1130 PM EDT.

* At 1106 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northeast of Sutton, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Holly River State Park, Flatwoods, Diana, Eden, Helvetia, Pickens, Cleveland, Waneta, Heaters, Hacker Valley, Kanawha Head, Bergoo, Centralia, and Falls Mills. This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 65 and 69.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BRAXTON, WV ... LEWIS, WV ... RANDOLPH, WV ... UPSHUR, WV ... WEBSTER, WV

Instructions:

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
