INCIDENT: PC246.3 – Willful Discharge of Firearm in a Grossly Negligent Manner

LOCATION: 25900 Block of Baseline St., Highland
SUSPECT(S): Ronald White, 37-years-old, Transient of Colton
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 9:30 PM., deputies from the Highland Sheriff’s Station responded to the 24900 block of Baseline Street for a report of shots fired.
Several witnesses reported a male subject, later identified as Ronald White, was firing multiple rounds in an unknown direction at the location. Highland and Central deputies secured a perimeter of the location where White was located hunkered down by a trash can within that perimeter. A handgun and two loaded .380 magazines were recovered from White.
White was booked at the Central Detention Center for weapons charges and an additional warrant and remains in custody on $340,000 bail.
