The Simi Valley Police Department was notified that an unknown number of Ventura County residents have recently received a scam telephone call from a subject claiming to be a Police Officer with the Simi Valley Police Department. This scammer advised residents that they had a warrant for their arrest and needed to call a provided telephone number and send funds. Please know this is a fraudulent call and does not involve any of our officers or our department.
