SVRSGF The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Maries County in central Missouri... Miller County in central Missouri...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 340 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southwest of St. Thomas, or 15 miles southeast of Eldon, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Lake of The Ozarks State Park, Osage Beach, Lake Ozark, Belle, Iberia, Vienna, St. Elizabeth, Tuscumbia, Bagnell, Brumley, Lakeside, Brinktown, Ulman, Vichy, Kaiser, and Marys Home.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MARIES, MO ... MILLER, MO

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. If on or near Lake of the Ozarks, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
