Deputies Arrest Four Men for Burglary of Several Railroad Cars in Cadiz

DATE/TIME: Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m.

INCIDENT: PC 459 -  Burglary, PC 182(A)(1) - Conspiracy, and PC 4573.5 - Bringing Drugs into Jail Facility

LOCATION: Interstate 40 near Park Moabi Rd, Needles, CA

SUSPECT(S): Juan Flores Felician, 30 Years Old, Resident of Los Mochis, MX
                        Jesus Martinez Soto, 24 Years Old, Resident of Sinaloa, MX
                        Luis Burgos Solorza, 38 Years Old, Resident of Moreno Valley, CA
                        Jesus Baca Rivera, 27 Years Old, Resident of Los Mochis, MX

VICTIM(S): Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad


SUMMARY: On Thursday, April 17, 2024, at approximately 4:15 p.m., deputies with the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a burglary in progress on the railroad near National Trails Hwy and Danby Road in Cadiz. Deputies found the suspects had broken into several train cars and fled the area. Deputies located the suspects a short time later in the city of Needles, where they were taken into custody without incident. 

The above suspects were arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. During the booking process, Jesus Martinez Soto was found to have a white baggie of suspected methamphetamine on his person and was charged an additional charge of PC 4573.5 - Brining Drugs Into a Jail Facility. The above suspects remain in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
