Especially in this day and age, we know people are busy, families are torn in many directions, and local businesses are focused on their survival. At the same time, much in our Borough traditionally depends on dedicated volunteers to operate – for things including Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, Recreation, Rescue Squad, Committees, and so many other vital functions of our hometown. (And don’t forget, these Borough all-volunteer departments help keep our taxes down, too!)

Our outreach this year aims to break through a common misunderstanding – where people (all of us!) tend to assume that ‘someone else will probably do it.’ Our Middlesex Volunteers! campaign organizers want to encourage individuals like YOU to think about what talent you might be able to contribute as a proud resident of the Borough.
