The Janesville Police Department will hold a press conference at 2pm today in the Chief’s Conference Room to provide information on an open homicide investigation that occurred near the Fisher Creek section of the Peace Trail along Afton Road. Press with the appropriate, legitimate press credentials will be allowed access to the press conference in person. JPD reserves the right to deny access to and remove persons from the press conference with and without cause as the conference room is a private area not generally open to the public
