Update: Teen Arrested in Connection to East Side Shooting; Investigation Ongoing
The Green Bay Police Department has arrested a 15-year-old male suspect in connection with a shooting on the City’s east side, and a firearm believed to be used in the incident has been recovered.
The shooting took place on Friday, April 19, 2024, in the area of Mills Street and Village Street. It sent a 16-year-old male victim to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The initial investigation shows that this shooting may have been the result of a previous dispute involving the two juveniles.
As a precautionary measure, Green Bay Police plan to have extra patrols at Preble High School and the surrounding area next week.
